Is it safe to have a pet squirrel?

always wanted to have one where would i get one and what would caring for it be likeIs it safe to have a pet squirrel?
they are angry little creatures. I don't think a squirrel would be happy in a cage. I think they require more room than most small animals. Generally it isn't a good idea to keep wild animals as pets and I've never heard of domesticated squirrels. Is it safe to have a pet squirrel?
Eh...... having a pet squirrel might not be the best idea. You could, but it would need lots of space, the correct food (if your local store sells squirrel foods, for squirrel feeders), and I don't think it would really let you hold it. Not sure this is the best idea unless you're fully prepared for a big commitment, and a lot of scratches! Good luck though!
I dont recommend owning a squirrel. I have a wild life rehabitation center here in Texas. I have a handicapped male squirrel. He thinks of me as mommy. But you have to know how to take care of them. When he gets upset he bites. It takes an expert to raise them. I recommend owning a sugar glider instead. Booger is 6 yrs old and that is really old for a squirrel. I only hopes he makes it to his next birthday in Feb.
Get sugar gliders if they are not illegal in your state they are safer and are ALOT like flying squirrels and get suggies from a rescue NOT A BREEDER!!!

GET AT LEAST 2 THEY DON'T LIVE ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!鈥?br>

They are high maintenance but are cute

black and white marsupials that can glide like a flying squirrel

they do not have a bushy tail

if you have a problem feeding meat and bugs to an animal dont get suggies they eat both and also fruit
i don't think it is safe because if you bring it in your house and you feed it human food it isn't use to th food so it would be sick...but if you try to hold it i don't think you should because it might bite or even hurt you.
Umm suprisingly, those little things can get pissy and can scratch the **** outta you, not only that but they also have the high chance of having rabies.
NOO! squirrels are evil, violent, little devils. They scratch and have anger issues. DO NOT GET ONE OF THOSE CREATURES AS A PET.
