I just found a squirrel today, what should i do?

its only a baby should i keep him and if i keep him what should i put him in and what shoul i feed him?I just found a squirrel today, what should i do?
I suggest you to give to an local wildness animal shelter, look up in interent in your local, anyway make sure after handling him, wash ur HANDS, no offense after all he is wild. As typical answer, take him to vet to advice u wt to do or somebody trustworthy. Keep him warm by placing a box with suggle towels. Feeding him is not gud idea bez he will became depend on human food, once again ask vet or animal shelter..that all i can doI just found a squirrel today, what should i do?
feed it warm goat's milk (you can get it in the bakery aisle of the grocery store) mixed with water. make a 50/50 mix. use a 3 cc syringe to feed it. don't use an eye dropper as they can suck the milk out too quickly and aspirate on it. keep it warm in a box with towels. wrap a 20 ounce bottle of hot water in a sock to keep it warm. babies need to be fed every 4 to 6 hours around the clock. raising baby is a lot of work. very rewarding. If you don't have the time or dedication required, contact your vet and find out if they know of any rehabbers. All our babies come from vet referrals. Not a good idea to keep for a pet. much happier in wild. not to mention how destructive they can be in the house. what area are you located at?
call vet to see if squirrel is sick or has anything.then take it from there.
if the squirrel was hurt, definitely take him to the vet! I think that's probably a good thing to do. Well, you might not want to spend all this money on a squirrel and then find that he's OK......I hope you find a good answer! And, I hope I helped a bit, although probably every body's already told you to call the vet.....
You should call a vet, dont keep him tho....
its a wild animal, you wont ever be able to make it happy and it will probably end up running off when its older just let it go
give him to your local humane society
go to your local pet store they will hook you up
Well first of check out the area were you found the little squirrel and see if you can find its parents if not I suggest you give it milk and any other types of food suggested by specialists till it grows stronger and older. Once it matures (a week the MOST) I would get advice from an animal shelter or a specialist (as soon as possible.) Then carefully follow the advice they give you.
You can feed baby squirrels baby animal formula (for kittens / puppies / rabbits usually) just follow the directions on the container / bottle. You should let your local vet office know that you've found a baby squirrel, they could locate an Animal Rehabilitator to place it with. They are people who work with young animals, or injured animals who then release them back into the wild. Also, are you sure it was orphaned? Did it have all of its fur or was it hairless? So you know, just because a baby animal is walking around without a parent in sight doesn't mean it's been abandoned. :)
i woudnt keep him. take him to the vet they'll know what to do.
let it go the mom might get mad at you for keeping it.. e-mail me at kaj4him@yahoo.com..... Thanks....
I would take it to a local animal shelter we kept a baby rabbit who had been abandoned and we called a vet and they said to put it in a closed in space and feed it carrots and lettuce and bring it in the morning but it had a seizure and died in the night so it would be best to take it to a vet RIGHT NOW!!!!
You should call a vet, and see what they tell you to do.....

Aww I wish I could see it!
I would get in touch with your local animal control- you can just call the Police Department for the number, or call your state ';Division of Fish, Game and Wildlife'; They will tell you what to do.
