I read somewhere that the web kit team developed it, but I don't really know which company the web kit team is part of?Did apple Develop web kit and squirrel-fish extreme?
Apple started WebKit in 2002 when it forked the open source KHTML. The WebKit team is nearly completely funded and staffed by Apple.
