How to dry a squirrel foot?

we went squirrel hunting the other day and i wanted to dry a foot but don't know how, can someone tell me the best way please. How to dry a squirrel foot?
Make a mixture of un-iodized salt and alum and pack the foot in it for about a week. It will be cured and ready for whatever you want to do with it.How to dry a squirrel foot?
if you want the bone, fur gone, hang it up outside and insects will eat it

if you want the fur entact DO NOT LEAVE IT OUTSIDE i would either put it in a warm room under a heat lamp, or just put you keyring on it and let it dry out over time
Tie a piece of bow service string or dental floss to the foot and hang it in a cool, dry place. It will dry up in about two weeks and last quite a while.
if you really want to make it last longer the best way would be to take it to a animal stuffers
