I am 2 looking for a squirrel, they can be very good pets My friend had 1 and it never wanted 2 leave her side

First, you need to check if your state allows squirrels to be kept as pets, and if so, are there any special restrictions, like licenses and permits. You can check here: http://www.api4animals.org/b4a2_exotic_a鈥?/a>

If you find that squirrels are legal in your state, you need to check with your county and municipality, because many individual counties and municipalities restrict the ownership of animals that are otherwise legal in the state.

If you are legally allowed to have a squirrel as a pet, then you need to find a USDA licensed breeder, or a store or dealer that got their squirrels from a licensed dealer.

It is not legal to take a squirrel from the wild and make him into a pet.I am 2 looking for a squirrel, they can be very good pets My friend had 1 and it never wanted 2 leave her side
Squirrels are wild animals. Check with your government, but in most places it's illegal to capture one from the wild, and you would need to seek out a breeder, get a license allowing you to own wild animals, and only then get one after you pass all th legal stuff. Otherwise you would be breaking the law and at risk of getting fined and having the squirrel taken away and destroyed.
