They will give you instructions on how to care for it until they come pick it up. It took them about 2 days to pick up the two I rescued. What you should first try to do is call in your local animal shelter and ask them if they can take in a baby squirrel if not then keep in in cardboard box(air must be available) put a bottle of hot water wrap it with a towel and put it in the box. Look online to see what you should feed it. Then wait a few days and see if it survives there is a 80% chance it wont. If it does keep doing that but if you cant keep it try to find someone who can. DONT PUT IT BACK OUTSIDE !!!! It will get killed.


Ive rescued a whole litter of squirrels before
leave it but keep an eye on it from a distance the mother squirrel might still be caring for it, if you do not see any signs for a day when you are far enough away to not push away the mother contact the local animal rescue, they will tell you what to do.
