What should i name my pet squirrel?

i caught a squirel today in my yard. Hes in the cage now and hes jumping around A LOT. Hes really hyper. So maybe a name that has to do with how hyper he is would be good. He also tries to bite my hand when I pet him. I thought about Chopper as a name but i duno. What do you think?What should i name my pet squirrel?

Chomper, Chopper, interesting names, but like a couple others said, the squirrel is a wild animal and at this moment is terrified. He/she will grow depressed and will probably die. Why not let him/her go, take a trip down to the grocery store, buy a huge bag of unsalted peanuts and throw a few out at a time and just enjoy the squirrels and birds in their environment? Eventually, they come to trust you, and although you probably will never be able to touch a wild squirrel without it wanting to bite your finger off, you can know that you're doing something nice. If you have jays, many will get so used to you holding up peanuts that they will swoop down and take it right out of your hand.

its not jumping because its hyper it wants to get out.just let it go.


why would you want to keep some thing that wants to bite you.you will not even be able to grave it with out getting bitten.


and also i think its not legal to catch a wild squirrel and keep it as a pet.

you shouldnt keep a squirrel its bad for u and the squirrel they're wild animals and have to be free and also if he got out of his cage it would hurt A LOT
