Do you know anyone who has a pet squirrel?

It comes from the wild, it is illegal to have it for a pet, I don't know anyone in their right mind or wrong mind that would try and keep a wild animal. Notice I said ';try';. They are cute and fun to watch, but as a pet, No way Jose.Do you know anyone who has a pet squirrel?
Im sure some people do..but its not a good idea.. they are wild animals.. even if you raise them... they get mean!


and their nails are like razors... people find them and raise them all time.. then when they get mean and the people can no longer handle them.. they either keep them in a cage for the rest of their 15 years of life.. or.. the lucky ones are brought to me ( wildlife rehabber).. or other rehabbers.. they are already wild! So we just make sure we release them somewhere far away from humans ( as they do not fear humans)... and also we make sure that there is a good food supply... human raised squirrels that people keep too long seem to alwaya want to ATTACK strangers... not fun.Do you know anyone who has a pet squirrel?

I had one for awhile...a flying squirl....kept him as a rescue..he was sweet....once he got full grown I gave him to a wild life refuge.
Ewww... squirrels carry TONS of diseases. No way.
