Does a squirrel living in a cold climate (hibernates in winter) live longer than the pampered London squirrel?

Tree squirrels do not hibernate. They will warm up by sunning themselves and also by shivering. Then they are off in search of food. It is not unusual for squirrel families to den together for warmth in the winter. These families usually consist of directly related females and/or the previous years offspring. You think London squirrels are pampered? Our's get walnuts, pecans, filberts, peanuts, sunflower seeds, corn, lab blocks, monkey biscuits, and fresh vegies and fruit. Spoiled rotten little rascals!Does a squirrel living in a cold climate (hibernates in winter) live longer than the pampered London squirrel?
Pampered...? is that before or after it's been run overDoes a squirrel living in a cold climate (hibernates in winter) live longer than the pampered London squirrel?
Don't the squirrels in London hibernate?

Bear it in mind that all squirrels wake up on sunny / warmer days to eat and do what they have to do. They don't hibernate in the true sense of the word..
what! London squirrels wear nappies!
I live in MI where the temps are subfreezing for months. The squirrels here don't hibernate. They just hole up when the weather is extreme. On calm days they come out and look for food in the snowy forest.
The poor little squirrels can't get gas masks small enough, and just can't get used to excessive carbon emmissions. ;)
