What Should we get? Chipmunk or sugar glider or squirrel?

Me and my husband are getting a small animal in a few weeks we are getting a Huge gliding cage its 5 story and a place for hanging and climbing I really want a Chipmunk but My husband was a sugar glider or squirrelWhat Should we get? Chipmunk or sugar glider or squirrel?
1 do NOT buy a sugar glider from a pets store that is the worst place to buy one i have a sugar glider and i love her


2 buy a sugar glider from a breeder it will probably be cheaper and healthier


3 if your going to buy a sugar glider you need to buy 2 of them


4 they should be 8 weeks is the youngest and 8 months is the oldest if you buy suggies from 5 to 8 months make sure they have been handled alot or it will be hard to tame them


also if you buy one make sure you have enough time and money for him or her they are very social animals they dont cost alot but if they get sick get ready for a big vet bill a check up in oh alone is around 50 to 80 dollars


5 they have a strict diet but after about 2 weeks it gets easy


6 they are very loving and will only bond to one person so thats an even better reason to get to


7 make sure you do your research

if you buy 2 sugar gliders of the oppisite sex you MUST get the boy fixed inbreed sugar gliders are unhealthy and will cost you a huge vet fee p.s. i recommend you go to glidercentral. com make a free account they have a database of vets, licensed and cheap, breeders, diets, they also have small breeders that sell there suggies on the website, and if you need any help you can post any question on the buliten its the best place make sure if you buy a suggie on any of the websites other then glidercentral you get them vet checkedWhat Should we get? .I have 1 female sugar glider and before buying her I researched alot on the internet about Sugar Gliders. You DON'T HAVE TO get 2 sugar gliders, people just recommend you to get 2 because if you get only 1 you need to spend alot of time with it. I spend alot of time with mine and it is'nt sick!!! chipmunks are the best and the cleanest, they are so much fun, I have two,but outside they are tame will eat out of your hand and store there seeds, to eat in the winter, very cool
chip monks live longer and are more intelligent. They dont smell as bad as squirrels. However, no rodents make very good pets, as the need to gnaw to keep their teeth in order makes them quite destructive.
Can you even legally own a chipmunk or squirrel as a pet? I'd go with the sugar glider.
